Just as we encourage you, “If you see something, say something” our officers are also on the lookout for anything suspicious. Officer McClain’s recent observations on patrol led to stolen property being recovered two days in a row.
In both cases, Ofc. McClain spotted U-Haul trucks that were abandoned in strange areas. The ignitions appeared damaged, and both U-Haul trucks contained stolen ATM machines in the back. The stolen ATMs and U-Hauls were traced to other cities, so the discoveries helped nearby police departments with their cases.
