Silvercrest PTA Newsletter: October, 2016

Silvercrest PTA

Cooler weather is headed our way as we move fully into fall. And that means that Thanksgiving is right around the corner! There are a lot of activities this time of year, as we prepare for the holiday season. We are excited to help our children participate in the community through service projects, a special Thank you to our veterans, and though fun, social activities with friends and family. Stay warm and healthy! Go Stallions!

Our Thank You

A big Thank You to all who participated in the PTA Reflections Contest! Your original art and dance is inspiriting! We look forward to announcing the winners next month!

 Annual Food Drive

Our annual food drive benefits our neighbors at the Pearland Neighborhood Center and is fun competition for our students. The grade level that brings in the most items will earn an extra recess! All of the items donated will help restock the food and dry goods pantry and will help fill holiday food baskets.

Please send all items in their original, unopened packaging. Open or expired items cannot be accepted. If you have any questions, please contact Neera Prengler, Community Outreach Committee Chair, at 713.517.9260 or
