Wings Over Houston offers fun and flight

logoThe Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Wings Over Houston Airshow is here! This weekend (Oct. 22-23), the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be performing, along with the very rare F-35A Lightning II Stealth Fighter, which is the latest generation multi-role fighter plane manufactured by Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth. This is only the second airshow in the nation where this aircraft has been displayed and flown!

Come check out other static displays as well as Tora! Tora! Tora! which is the re-enactment of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Meet WWII Veterans in the Legends & Heroes Tent, including Col. Dick Cole, the last surviving member of the Doolittle Raiders (he is 100 years young)! Enjoy pyrotechnics, aerobatics, food, fun and more!

The CAF Wings Over Houston Airshow is an IRC 501(c)(3) community event presented by the volunteer efforts of the Houston Wing, Gulf Coast Wing , and Tora! Tora! Tora! of the Commemorative Air Force, with support from the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, the Texas Flying Legends MuseumCollings Foundation-Houston based at Ellington Airport, and the Vietnam War Flight Museum. One of the top air shows in the United States, this premier Houston event is dedicated to showcasing vintage World War II aircraft, along with the thrills of modern aviation, and has supported a variety of local and national charities during its 30-year history.
