Please join us for cake and punch reception on Wednesday May 31st 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Chief Doyle will be available to meet with well-wishers in the 2nd Floor Training Area of the Public Safety Building on the South/Courts side. The address is 2555 Cullen, Pearland, TX 77581. Stop by to say thanks and share stories as Chief Doyle begins his hard-earned retirement.

A lifetime Pearland resident, Chief Doyle joined the Pearland Police Department in 1979. After starting his career as a patrol and motorcycle officer, Chief Doyle served the citizens of Pearland as a detective, a patrol sergeant, lieutenant and later as the commander for a multi-agency Special Weapons and Tactics Team.

Chief Doyle served as Assistant Chief of Police under P.M. Hogg from 1994 until 1999. At the end of Chief Hogg’s tenure, Chief Doyle was appointed to succeed him. Chief Doyle has crafted numerous public safety and community outreach initiatives all with the dual-goals of reducing crime and keeping the Pearland community a safe place to live and work. We wish him an enjoyable and happy retirement.
