Serial Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested by Pearland Police

56f54a83bd022_imageA suspect wanted in connection with three bank robberies in Pearland has been arrested. On Thursday (March 24), at approximately 6:40 p.m. Pearland Police, in cooperation with the Houston Police Department, arrested Curley Larks in the 4100 block of Wuthering Heights in Houston.

Pearland Police Investigators believe that Larks is responsible for the October 8, 2015 robbery of the Frost Bank in the 11200 block of Broadway, the May 19, 2015 robbery of the Prosperity Bank in the 11400 block of Broadway, as well as a second robbery that took place on December 16, 2014 at the same Frost Bank at 11200 Broadway Street.

In all three cases, the suspect was described as a black male in his late 40’s – 50’s, approximately 5’10”, 200-220 lbs., wearing glasses, dark clothing and brandishing a black pistol.

Pearland Police have charged Larks with three counts of Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, which is a First Degree Felony.
