The Grapevine Source, formerly The Pearland Source, has been a favorite area news site since it went live on September 1, 2012.

On October 19, 2017, the site was redesigned and rebranded to reflect our new home: Grapevine, Texas. We appreciate all the support we had from residents in the Pearland and Houston areas and will always cherish those years!

But don’t go away! The Grapevine Source, while based in Grapevine, offers news disseminated from reliable sources, original content and videos from all around Texas and the nation! We have a reporter from Houston, Texas and we receive press releases and news from California to Maine.

This website is still evolving and improving as the needs of the Greater Grapevine area, the DFW Metroplex and the Great State of Texas changes. The Grapevine Source is not affiliated with the City of Grapevine, any of its departments or entities, nor any HOA or any other governing body for any community, municipality or state/national entity.

Staff:

Stacey Doud (Editor-in-Chief/Reporter) – Stacey holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and has “retired” from that field. She’s very involved in her community and is an avid supporter of local law enforcement, first responders and municipal entities.

Nosey by nature, she enjoys researching all sides of an issue before drawing conclusions and has not voluntarily watched a news program in over 20 years.

Stacey was a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pearland, TX for over a decade. She retired from that field and became a reporter at Houston Community Newspapers and Media Group (now the Houston Chronicle). She currently writes for The Rambler Newspapers, based out of Irving, TX.
