Carroll ISD superintendent takes temporary leave of absence

The Carroll ISD board of trustees appointed Janet McDade, assistant superintendent for student services, as acting superintendent until further notice during its meeting Dec. 3.

McDade relieves David Faltys, who is taking a temporary leave of absence to spend time with family during a health situation, said Julie Thannum, assistant superintendent for board and community relations, in an email.

“There is no date for an anticipated return, but we look forward to a time when he will be back with us as superintendent,” Thannum said in the email. “In the meantime, the district is in good hands with Mrs. McDade and her support team.”
