CITY OF GRAPEVINE CLOSES ALL LAKE PARKS & BOAT RAMPS DUE TO HIGH LAKE LEVELS & FLOODING

With the amount of rainfall the area has received in recent months, Grapevine Lake levels currently sit over 16 feet above normal pool and are projected to rise, depending on weather.

As of today, Wednesday, May 22, all Grapevine Lake Parks and boat ramps are officially closed until further notice. There is no boat launch or pedestrian access to Grapevine Lake from the Grapevine side; patrons found inside the parks will be considered trespassing.

Due to the elevated lake levels, flooded areas and danger of submerged structures and debris, we urge all patrons to not access or attempt entry to Grapevine Lake parks. Boaters should stay near the center of the lake, at least a 0.25 mile from the shoreline.
