The Easter holiday is normally one of the busiest days of the year in the Grapevine park system. Due to elevated lake levels at Grapevine Lake, most Lake Parks and Boat Ramps are closed and there is very limited parking or vehicle access. To see an inclusive list of parks and trails, please visit GoGrapevine.com/Explore. The Grapevine Police Department will have officers patrolling around public parks on bicycle and ATV. Anyone parked illegally on roadways is at risk of a citation.
In addition, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are asking residents to stay home and limit park visits to short walks or bike rides (if needed) to prevent gatherings and crowded areas. We want to remind everyone that while physical activities like exercise are considered essential, social gatherings like egg hunts, group picnics, parties and other group activities are not allowed. We encourage residents to egg hunt at home and stay safe.
The City of Grapevine has enforced the following restrictions declared by the Tarrant County Declaration which states that residents should stay home and only leave for essential outings.
