In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the City of Grand Prairie administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17. Other city services that will be closed are:
- The Betty Warmack Branch Library, the Main Library, and the Tony Shotwell Branch Library: Items may be renewed online at gptx.org/library. Items may be returned to book drops at the Main and Shotwell Libraries, the Lake Parks Book Locker, or the Epic Reads (located inside the Epic Recreation Center) any time the Epic is open.
- Water bill payment offices
- The Municipal Court
- The Summit, Charley Taylor, Dalworth and Tony Shotwell Recreation Centers
- The Kirby Creek Indoor Pool
- The Animal Shelter
- Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark
City of Grand Prairie services that will remain open on Monday, Jan. 17:
- The Epic Recreation Center
- Prairie Lakes Golf Course and Tangle Ridge Golf Club
- The Landfill and Garbage Collection/Recycling: Normal collection on Monday.
- The Tourist Information Center
