Grapevine Earth Day April 20

Grapevine’s annual outdoor Earth Day Celebration will help celebrate Earth Day’s 50th Anniversary! Held at the Town Square Gazebo (325 S. Main St.) in downtown Grapevine, this fun family event features educational presentations and vendors that will help us learn to live more environmentally friendly.

Presentations include:

  • Pollinators and Beekeeping
  • iNaturalist Explorers Program
  • Couch Potatoes Composting

Hosted in partnership with Keep Grapevine Beautiful and Grapevine’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

North Texas Giving Day September 20

Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event on Thursday, September 20 (all day) designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform. The event helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like nothing else.

By donating to Keep Grapevine Beautiful, you’re helping us preserve and enhance the local and natural environment by strengthening citizen’s levels of commitment through educational programs and engaging volunteer- based projects.

Help us reach our goal of $2,000. Every dollar donated to us by North Texas Giving Day, goes directly back into Keeping Grapevine Beautiful!

FREE irrigation lecture June 27

Screen Shot 2018-06-25 at 3.54.18 PMIn effort to educate the community on strategies and techniques to irrigate their property, we invite you to this FREE lecture and hear from irrigation expert Michael Mueller from M&M Irrigation on Wednesday, June 27 from 7 – 8pm at Grapevine Parks & Recreation, 1175 Municipal Way, Grapevine, Texas 76051.

We will discuss irrigation basics, soil texture basics and water scheduling methods. This lecture is part of the educational lecture series with Keep Grapevine Beautiful.
