Spreading MODness FB Post 1.jpg MOD Pizza has selected the Pearland ISD Education Foundation for their Spreading MODness campaign during the Thanksgiving holiday week (Tuesday, Nov. 24 – Sunday, Nov. 29).

For every MOD or MEGA pizza sold during the 5-day campaign, MOD Pizza at 2682 Pearland Parkway will donate $1.00 to the Pearland ISD Education Foundation.

Black Friday (Nov. 27) is an “add-a-buck” day, which allows customers to increase their giving to the Foundation.

The Pearland ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt organization with a mission to provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning and enhance opportunities for students and teachers in Pearland Independent School District.

President’s Perspective

Dear Foundation Friends,

August was a great month for the Foundation! We helped to kick-off the new school year at New Teacher Orientation and District Convocation.

We were also privileged to receive $17,000 from the 2015 Adidas Texas Volleyball Invitational Tournament, the largest single donation to the Foundation since its inception. A gracious thank you to Coach John Turner and Adidas for making this donation possible!

Now, we are preparing for our second annual Grown-up Spelling Bee. We hope you will join us at the October 22 fundraiser – as a buzzing team of competitors, an event sponsor, or a bee-dazzled spectator.

Our mission to fund educational programs and projects in Pearland ISD cannot happen without the generosity of others. We look forward to your continued support during the 2015-16 school year!

Foundation receives $17,000 from high school volleyball tournament

We are thankful to Adidas and our high school volleyball coaches John Turner and Jason Karim for choosing to support the Pearland ISD Education Foundation.

Foundation joins back to school events

The Foundation joined teachers and staff at the annual district convocation, a pep rally-style event. During New Teacher Orientation, the Foundation sponsored an afternoon snack, courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cakes.

PISD Education Foundation Grant Winners Announced

Dear Foundation Friends,

I am thrilled to announce the recipients of our 2015 Innovative Teaching Grants program.

Our grant committee received 69 applications, which all addressed important initiatives and were worthy of consideration.

The foundation approved funding for 47 projects, totaling $39,022.85. This is triple the amount of winners and grant funds awarded during the 2014-15 school year.

We owe this outstanding success to the generous support of donors and community supporters, like you.
